So we packed up our gear and prepared ourselves for breakfast, only to find Annie the ant and chums had got there first.

So after a tasty mushrooms on toast from the cafe and left over porridge that I salvaged we hit the road. When we let the whole family came out to wave us off which gave me a new motivation and drive for the day.

We had a mammoth climb at the beginning of the day but the rest was pretty easy going.

We almost got to trade our bikes for these old things, but pulled out last minute since it wasn’t worth it #vintagebeauties

We arrived in Ashurst and typed in our WS address to our Garmin. It stated 4.5km away which seemed weird because I remembered seeing that they were only 1km from the shops. I thought better of it and assumed the Garmin must be right!! 4km down the road I noticed the house numbers going up and then realised we were getting further and further away from our destination. 9km detour later we arrived #alwaytraining

When we arrived we were greeted by ‘George’ aka Ross. He welcomed us into his home with open arms. He officially had the best training set up we had seen and would of love to of given a Sufferfest a go.

IMG_5407.JPGWe had a delightful evening and a delicious meal cooked by Ross which ended with us sleeping in his tree house.
