During our tour across the USA back in the summer of 2013 we stopped in at the American Adventure Cycling Association’s offices up in Missoula, MT. Here we meet a great chap and founding member Greg Siple who has kept a historic archive of touring cyclists passing through since the 70’s!

He took our photo, weighed our fully loaded bikes and got us to write a bit about ourselves and our trip. Upon finishing we were meant to send him an update of what happened and how the trip effected us. In very LookMumNoCar way we took over a year to actually get around to doing this, but just before leaving to start our current tour of New Zealand we sent back our forms and a few days later got an email from Greg thanking us and confirming we had been selected to be the featured riders in February’s issue of the Adventure Cycling magazine!

We are both very proud of this as it was this magazine (along with lots of other people’s blogs) that first got us thinking about cycle touring and we hope our story now encourages someone else to do the same!

You’re now an inspiration and encouragement to many – to get going rather than sit and dream.
